Deleting your account
No forms, no reasons required, no attempt to talk you out of it.
How
Email jeje@transingenium.com from the address you use for Jeje, with "delete my account" in the subject. That is the whole process. Sending it from your own address is how we know it is you.
We confirm within 30 days, and usually within a day or two.
What is deleted
- Your profile and email address.
- Every setting — reminder times, voice, what you are carrying.
- Everything you wrote down. All of it, permanently.
- Your devices and your activity history.
What is kept, and why
Records of payments, for as long as Nigerian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. These are amounts and dates, held because we are obliged to hold them, and are not linked to anything you wrote.
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. If you subscribed on an iPhone, cancel it in your Apple account settings as well, or Apple will keep charging you for a Jeje account that no longer exists.
It cannot be undone
There is no recovery period and no archive. If you sign up again later you start fresh, which for most of what Jeje does is not much of a loss — but anything you had written will be gone.
